First time in the UK

Hey guys. Traveling to the UK this upcoming week for the first time for 5 days. I reside in the U.S. and have T-Mobile and they offer an international roaming plan for $50 for 10 days which is quite expensive. I’ve heard eSIMs are cheaper and work well but have never used one. D
